Orange Police: Hamden Man Stole Clothes from Kohl's

Orange police say officers responded to the Kohl’s store at 250 Bull Hill Lane regarding an alleged shoplifting complaint.

Officers learned that the arrestee, David Morales, 39, of State Street in Hamden, had allegedly taken $83 worth of clothing from the shelves and left the store without attempting to pay, police said.

He was stopped outside by store security and detained for police. He was subsequently taken into custody and charged with sixth-degree larceny.

He was released on a promise to appear in Superior Court, April 14.
