Parking Ban Announced In Hamden
Officials announce that a parking ban will be in effect in Hamden due to the winter storm in the forecast.

HAMDEN, CT — A parking ban will be in effect for the town of Hamden, beginning at 12 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 20 until further notice, Mayor Curt B. Leng and Public Works Director Craig Cesare announced. The parking ban prohibits any person to park, or allow to remain parked, any vehicle on any odd numbered portion of a town street or highway.
The ban further prohibits any person to allow or permit a vehicle to stand or park on any Town street or highway in such a manner as to constitute a hazard or obstruction to vehicular or pedestrian traffic. The Hamden Police Department is authorized, pursuant to Section 71.07 of the Code of the Town of Hamden, to remove any vehicle parked in violation of this ordinance. Such removal shall be at the risk and expense of the owner of the vehicle.
