Pedestrian Killed In Hit-And-Run Crash In Hamden: Police
A 37-year-old woman was struck and killed by a vehicle that left the scene, according to police.

HAMDEN, CT — A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run Wednesday night in Hamden, according to police.
Police responded to the 200 block of Paradise Avenue around 10:15 p.m. on the report of a struck pedestrian, according to Detective Sean J. Dolan.
Dolan said responding officers found a victim in the road. The woman, a 37-year-old Hamden resident, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Dolan.

An investigation found that the victim was struck by a vehicle that left the scene and is suspected of having front-end damage, according to Dolan.
Dolan said police later recovered an unoccupied, suspect vehicle in the area of Hume Drive. The vehicle was seized by police in conjunction with the investigation, according to Dolan.
