Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle, Seriously Injured: Hamden Police
A road is closed after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, according to police.
HAMDEN, CT — A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday morning in Hamden, according to police.
The pedestrian was struck on Brooksvale Avenue near the Farmington Canal Linear Park, police said.
Brooksvale Avenue is closed from Whitney Avenue to Still Hill Road, according to police.

Police said the pedestrian was alert and conscious, but was seriously injured.
The pedestrian was treated at the scene by Hamden Fire Department personnel and was taken to an area hospital by ambulance, according to police.
