About 30 students have been displaced from their dorms after two pipes burst on campus.

About 30 Quinnipiac students have been displaced from their dorms after two pipes burst on campus, according to NBC Connecticut.

NBC reports the pipes burst at the Mount Carmel campus in Hamden and the students are being assigned temporary housing.

Students were awoken by the sound of blaring alarms at about 4:20 a.m. and they are unsure of when they’ll be allowed back into their rooms and it could be a few days or a few weeks, according to the Quinnipiac Chronicle.
