Police Announce Results From ‘Click-It-Or-Ticket’ In Hamden

Extra patrols were focused on promoting safe driving during the 'Click-It-Or-Ticket' campaign, which took place from Nov. 20 to Nov. 24.

HAMDEN, CT — The Hamden Police Department issued more than 120 infractions during the recently completed “Click-It or Ticket Enforcement Program.” Enforcement efforts commenced on Nov. 20 and concluded on Nov. 24. Funding for the program was granted by the Connecticut Department of Transportation Highway Safety Office.

Hamden Police issued 127 infractions for seat belt violations. In addition, officers issued four summonses for various motor vehicle violations, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.

Enforcement was conducted on Dixwell Avenue, Whitney Avenue, State Street, Washington Avenue and Pine Rock Avenue.
