The coach, who had been accused of using a racial slur, was disciplined for his behavior during the 2022 National Championships: Report

HAMDEN, CT — An assistant Colorado Pop Warner football coach has been suspended for a year in connection with his behavior toward coaches from the Hamden Hurricanes during the 2022 National Championships, according to the New Haven Register.

The Register reports that an investigating panel found that the man did not use a racial slur, as had been previously reported.

However, officials told the Register the man violated two Pop Warner rules “by using profanity and acting in a manner that reflects negatively on Pop Warner.”
