Ranfone Training Systems (RTS) is a locally owned gym in Hamden, Connecticut, with more than 20 years of helping people build strength, improve performance, and invest in their long-term health. RTS offers adult semi-private training, sports performance training, and nutrition coaching, with individualized plans and professional guidance built around each person’s goals. Adult training starts with one-on-one sessions to establish your starting point and prepare you for semi-private training. You’ll follow your own program with coaches on the floor to provide instruction, adjustments, and support. Sports performance training serves athletes from youth through the professional level, with small-group and semi-private options. Programs are built around the athlete’s needs, sport, and stage of development. Led by a registered dietitian, nutrition coaching provides practical guidance, ongoing support, and different levels of accountability to help you build habits that support your health and training. Independently owned ProMotion Performance Therapy is located inside RTS, providing access to one-on-one physical therapy under the same roof. With your consent, your RTS coach and ProMotion physical therapist can collaborate to support your progress. Since 2005, RTS has grown through relationships with the people and families who train here. You’ll find experienced coaches, a plan with purpose, and a community where you belong.

Officials say Courtney Vander May jumped into action and began performing CPR when she saw a person suffering a cardiac arrest in Hamden. She then turned over care to firefighters. Vander May was honored during a ceremony Monday at Memorial Town Hall.

HAMDEN, CT — A Quinnipiac University graduate student was honored this week for helping to save a person’s life last month. Officials say Courtney Vander May jumped into action and began performing CPR when she saw a person suffering a cardiac arrest in Hamden. She then turned over care to firefighters.
