Quinnipiac Grad Student Honored For Life-Saving Action In Hamden
Officials say the Quinnipiac University graduate student jumped into action when she saw someone suffering a cardiac arrest in Hamden.
HAMDEN, CT — A Quinnipiac University graduate student was honored this week for helping to save a person’s life last month. Officials say Courtney Vander May jumped into action and began performing CPR when she saw a person suffering a cardiac arrest in Hamden. She then turned over care to firefighters.
Vander May was honored during a ceremony Monday at Memorial Town Hall.
