Quinnipiac Professor Given Advisor of the Year Award

Hamden - David Tomczyk, of Hamden, associate professor of entrepreneurship & strategy at Quinnipiac University, recently received the university’s Advisor of the Year award.

The award recognizes the student organization or group advisor whose dedication to advising, counseling and support strengthens the organization itself, as well as its members.

Tomczyk received the award for his dedication to advising, counseling and supporting the Quinnipiac eSports club team. He has actively helped the group achieve its goals, mission and objectives. He has provided an exemplary commitment to and service for the club team this past year, selflessly giving his time to the students and serving as an integral part of the team. Tomczyk even drove the group to Atlantic City, helping the team win a 2022 MAAC championship.
