Quinnipiac Student Killed In Off-Campus Bike Accident
The Quinnipiac community is mourning the tragic death of a student.

HAMDEN, CT — The Quinnipiac community is mourning the loss of a student who was tragically killed in an off-campus bicycle accident this week. Quinnipiac University President Judy Olian said Anthony Massaro, 23, of Wethersfield, died Sept. 5 in an off-campus bicycle accident. He was a sophomore majoring in philosophy and the son of Linda Massaro, associate vice president and campaign director in the Office of Development and Alumni Affairs.
“This is a terrible loss for Anthony’s family and friends, and for our community,” Olian said in an email to the Quinnipiac community. “My heart goes out to all in this time of extraordinary sorrow.”
Quinnipiac will offer a variety of support services to students, faculty and staff. Funeral arrangements are pending.
