Quinnipiac Students Cited For Loud Parties In Hamden: Police

Police responded to several complaints of loud parties over the weekend.

HAMDEN, CT — Quinnipiac University’s first day of classes is today (Monday, Aug. 26) and Hamden Police were busy issuing more than a dozen infractions over the weekend for several “loud” parties in the northern section of town.

Police responded to nine “loud party” complaints for parties that were hosted by Quinnipiac University students at various locations in the northern section of town, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.

Smith said officers issued 14 infractions for creating a public disturbance, which carries a $103 fine.
