Quinnipiac Suspends Fraternity Amid Hazing Allegations
The university has issued a cease-and-desist order as it conducts an investigation.

For the second time in two months, Quinnipiac University has issued a cease-and-desist order to a fraternity amid hazing allegations.
The Quinnipiac Chronicle reports that the university announced on Thursday evening that the Beta Theta Pi fraternity has been the latest to receive a cease-and-desist order.
Vice President for Public Affairs Lynn Bushnell issued the following statement, via the Quinnipiac Chronicle:

“The university has issued the fraternity a cease and desist order prohibiting it from operating at the university until the student conduct process is completed. With the safety and security of our students being paramount, the university will simply not tolerate hazing of any kind by any group or individual and will act swiftly to remove from the community those held responsible.”
Sigma Phi Epsilon was issued a cease-and-desist order in late September.
