Quinnipiac Team Doctor Saves Student’s Life After Hockey Game: Report

A 19-year-old freshman was found to be unresponsive after a recent hockey game at the TD Bank Sports Center.

HAMDEN, CT — The Quinnipiac University team doctor is being credited with saving the life of a 19-year-old freshman who was having a medical emergency after a recent hockey game at the TD Bank Sports Center, according to NBC Connecticut.

Dr. David Wang told NBC Connecticut that fortunately he had stopped to talk to two former hockey players because someone suddenly came running down the halls saying they needed a medic.

Wang rushed over to the student, who wasn’t breathing and didn’t have a pulse, and was able to perform CPR and revive her with an Automatic Defibrillator the other student quickly brought over to the scene, according to NBC.
