Quinnipiac University’s Engineering Programs Earn ABET Accreditation

Four engineering programs at Quinnipiac University have been accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.

From Quinnipiac University: Four engineering programs at Quinnipiac University have been accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, the global accreditor of college and university programs in applied science, computing, engineering and engineering technology, according to an announcement made today by Justin Kile, dean of the School of Engineering at Quinnipiac.

ABET accreditation assures that programs meet standards to produce graduates ready to enter critical technical fields that are leading the way in innovation and emerging technologies, and anticipating the welfare and safety needs of the public.

“Earning ABET accreditation for our civil, industrial, mechanical, and software engineering programs is an important milestone as we continue to develop and grow our School of Engineering in its mission to provide an exceptional learning experience for our students,” Kile said. “Recognized and developed by the professional societies our graduates join, this accreditation ensures that our students have a solid foundation to build their careers.”
