In today's job market, many are venturing to a career in real estate. With the opportunities as a licensed real estate professional in CT, whether one is full or part time, real estate licensees feel representing both sellers and buyers in today's real estate market are both rewarding and fulfilling. 

How to be a licensed real estate agent? Before you can help people buy real estate in CT, or even show real estate listings in CT you must first get licensed to sell real estate in CT.  The process of obtaining a real estate license in Connecticut is to assure that only qualified, competent people are licensed in real estate in CT. Every state has its own real estate laws regulating the practice of real estate licensing, so you must pass Connecticut’s real estate license exam specifically.

The first step to getting your CT real estate license is to complete the real estate pre-licensing course from a Connecticut-approved school. You must pass the 60-hour Principles & Practices of Real Estate Course with a score of 70% or better.

If you are in the local area Dynamic Directions, Inc has an on-going licensing course that runs continuously twice a week so you can start almost anytime and when you have finished your required 60 hours of live class instruction you will be prepared to take the state exam.  If you are not local or those classes are not convenient for you, research the other Real estate schools in CT for successful completion of the pre-licensing course.

With verification of your completion of the real estate pre-licensing course, we will then help you to register with the CT Department of Consumer Protection to take the State Exam. Passing the real estate license State Exam with 70% or better will then earn you your license. Your goal should be to pass your CT real estate license exam the first time. We know that after completing the CT real estate Pre-License course, the best way to pass your licensing exam the first time is to practice by taking similar exams.
