HAMDEN, CT — In a Friday morning update, Hamden Police announced that Mt. Carmel Avenue has reopened. In other updates, police say New Road is still closed from Mt. Carmel to the Quinnipiac New Road entrance. Access to the Quinnipiac New Road entrance can be made from Ives Street. Hogan Road is still completely closed, police said. Work trucks are still on the scene on Mt. Carmel Avenue so police advise motorists to travel cautiously.
