Students at Sacred Heart Academy in Hamden honored the memory of Jonathan Law High School student Maren Sanchez on Monday.
Dressed in varying shades of purple — Maren's favorite color, the students held a service, "Our Hearts Are with Maren," for the 17-year-old who was fatally stabbed in her school early April 25.
A 16-year-old suspect, who allegedly stabbed the Jonathan Law High School junior to death Friday morning — after she reportedly declined his offer to attend the prom — has been charged with murder, Milford Police said.
