The Sacred Heart Academy girls basketball team advanced to its sixth-straight SCC championship game with a semifinal win over West Haven.

HAMDEN, CT — The top-seeded Sacred Heart Academy girls basketball team advanced to its sixth-straight SCC championship game with a 53-31 victory over No. 5 West Haven on Saturday at Shelton High School.

Maddy Burke scored a game-high 25 points for the Sharks, while Mila Harmon added eight points.

Tiranke Keita led West Haven (16-7) with 15 points and Noelle Lawrence added nine points.

Sacred Heart Academy will face sixth-seeded Sheehan in the championship game on Monday, March 2 at the M&T Bank Arena at Quinnipiac University.

The Titans defeated Mercy 34-32 in the semifinals to advance to their first-ever SCC championship game.
