Scientific Technology Aids Hamden Police in Arrest of 2011 Burglary Suspect
A New Haven man was charged with the knifepoint robbery of Krauser's.
With the aid of scientific technology, Hamden police have arrested a New Haven man in connection with the 2011 knifepoint robbery of a Krauser’s, located at 1959 State Street, Police Capt. Ronald Smith said in a press release.
Daniel Hogan, 24, of 141 Scranton Street in New Haven, was arrested Tuesday at Meriden Superior Court.
Hamden police had responded to Krauser’s, 1959 State Street, on Aug. 29, 2011 on the report of an armed robbery. Investigation revealed that two individuals stole an undisclosed amount of money, while holding a knife to the lone clerk’s throat.

Smith said that after an extensive investigation, with the aid of scientific technology, Hogan was arrested.
Hogan was charged with first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery and sixth-degree larceny. He was detained on a $200,000 court-ordered bond.
