Shoplifter Pushed Store Security Officer: Hamden Police

Police are asking for help with identifying two shoplifting suspects, including a man who was wearing a medical face mask.

HAMDEN, CT — Police are asking for help with identifying two men accused of stealing about $300 worth of items from Burlington Coat Factory in Hamden. Police said the theft took place at the store, located at 2300 Dixwell Ave., on March 20.

The two men stole “footwear” that was valued at about $300, according to police. One of the men “pushed” a loss prevention officer, police said. They were last seen entering a black SUV.

One of the suspects was described by police as a black man, 6-feet tall, with a heavy build who was wearing a white jacket with a “B” emblem and a medical face mask.

The other suspect was described by police as a black man, 5-feet, 10-inches tall, with a medium build who was wearing a dark-hooded sweatshirt.
