Shoplifting Suspect Threatened Walmart Security: Hamden Police
Police say the suspect stole several watches and threatened to stab the security officer when she approached him.

HAMDEN, CT — Police are asking for help with identifying a shoplifting suspect accused of threatening to stab a Loss Prevention Officer at Walmart. Police responded to Walmart, located at 2300 Dixwell Ave., on June 17 on the report of shoplifting, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Smith said the suspect stole several watches and was confronted by a Loss Prevention Officer. He then pushed the security officer and threatened to stab her, according to police.
The suspect is described by police as a black man, bald with “facial stubble,” who was wearing a white T-shirt and jeans.
