Shots Fired at Pedestrian, 4 Arrested: Hamden Police
Hamden Police say the shots came from a moving car Sunday night and officers later found a BB gun, pellets and two masks inside the vehicle.

HAMDEN, CT — Four people were charged in connection to shots fired at a pedestrian from a moving vehicle Sunday night in Hamden, according to police.
Hamden Police responded to the 1700 block of Dixwell Avenue at about 9:45 p.m. on Oct. 30 on the report of an individual shooting a firearm from inside of a moving motor vehicle, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Smith said investigation revealed that the shooter fired approximately three times at a pedestrian, who was walking in the vicinity of Dixwell Avenue and Woodin Street. There were no reported injuries.

Shortly thereafter, Hamden Police, with the assistance of a concerned citizen, located the vehicle traveling on Dixwell Avenue, according to Smith.
There were four occupants inside of the vehicle and they were subsequently arrested and transported to Hamden Police Headquarters, Smith said.

Officers located a BB gun, pellets and two masks inside of the vehicle. One of the individuals was in the possession of a box cutter, according to Smith.
Hamden Police arrested:
Jamal Bynum, 19, of Beaver Street, Hamden. He was charged with conspiracy to commit second-degree reckless endangerment, criminal attempt to commit reckless endangerment and weapons in a motor vehicle.
Carlton White, 20, Dover Street, New Haven. He was charged with conspiracy to commit second-degree reckless endangerment.
Tymar Cooper, 21, of Fourth Street, Hamden. He was charged with conspiracy to commit second-degree reckless endangerment.
Javon Johnson, 20, of Savin Avenue, West Haven. He was charged with conspiracy to commit second-degree reckless endangerment.
All four men are scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Nov. 14.
