Shots Fired At Vehicle After Incident In Parking Lot: Hamden Police
Police are investigating after a passenger in a vehicle fired several shots at another vehicle after an incident in a nearby parking lot.
HAMDEN, CT — A vehicle was fired at after an incident in a nearby parking lot Sunday in Hamden, according to police.
Police responded to the area of Dixwell Avenue and Mather Street on the report of shots fired. A man told police that he was in the parking lot of 7-Eleven at 1795 Dixwell Avenue when a gold Ford Explorer almost backed into his vehicle, according to Sgt. Angela Vey.
The man told police that the rear passenger in the gold Ford Explorer rolled down the window and pointed a gun at him, according to Vey.

Vey said both vehicles left the parking lot and headed south on Dixwell Avenue. The man said when they reached the intersection of Dixwell Avenue and Mather Street, the same rear passenger in the Explorer fired several rounds at his vehicle, according to Vey.
No one was injured during the incident, Vey said.
