Shrimp Thief Sought In Hamden: Police

Police are asking for help with identifying a man accused of shoplifting at Stop & Shop.

HAMDEN, CT — Police are asking for help with identifying a man accused of stealing five packages of shrimp from Stop & Shop Monday night in Hamden. Police say the theft took place at about 10 p.m. at the Stop & Shop located at 2335 Dixwell Avenue

The suspect, described as a white man with a beard and short stature, left the store with five packages of stolen shrimp and was last seen traveling eastbound on Skiff Street in a silver Dodge Caravan, according to police.
