Special Voter Registration Session To Be Held In Hamden

The town announces a special voter registration session to enroll voters for the upcoming primary election and other voting information.

HAMDEN, CT — The Town of Hamden Registrar of Voters Office has announced a special voter registration session to enroll voters who wish to vote in the upcoming Primary for State, District and Municipal Offices on Tuesday, Aug. 13, as well as make residents aware of the following information.

The Hamden Registrar of Voters Office is holding an in-person Special Voter Registration Session on Friday, July 26, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The location is the Registrar of Voters Office, located on the main floor of Hamden Government Center, 2750 Dixwell Avenue in Hamden.

The registrars will, at such time, hear requests by persons removed for adding their names to the registry list.

Absentee Ballots:

Absentee applications and ballots will be available beginning Tuesday, July 2, in the Town Clerk’s office during regular business hours. Please click here for more information.

Early Voting:

Early Voting for the 2024 Primary for State, District and Municipal Offices will take place at Miller Library (Thornton Wilder Auditorium) on August 5, 7, 9, 10, and 11 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on August 6 and 8 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Please click here for more information.

The Primary for State, District and Municipal Offices will take place on August 13, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at your district polling location.

Post cards from the Registrar of Voters Office will be mailed to every eligible household.
