The Spring Glen Garden Club Next meeting

The next meeting of The Spring Glen Garden Club will be Monday May 11, 2026, at Lockwood Cottage 890 Evergreen Ave. After luncheon beginning at 11:30 am (bring a sandwich, dessert and beverage will be served) and a short business meeting the speaker will begin at 1pm.The speaker will be Pat Sabosik and her subject will be “Pollinators”.Donation $5

Pat is an advanced master gardener, maintaining current certification since 2017.In her master gardener role, she manages a pollinator garden at the Hill-Stead Museum, a research and educational garden, and teaches new master gardeners about native plants and the insects who depend on them.

Pat is the owner of Silver Spade Garden Design, a small design and consulting business.

To complement the perennial garden at Hill-Stead, Pat’s own garden is a shady woodland garden with a mix of native and non-native plants and a refuge for birds and small animals.

Pat’s garden participates in the Garden Conservancy Open Days program.
