Trailing by three runs and looking like a tough Puerto Rican team would walk away with another victory, the Connecticut Stealth 11U team stunned the crowd by coming from behind and winning 8-7.
Puerto Rico lead 6-0 heading into the sixth inning of the game but the Stealth would score six runs in that inning, capped off by the three-run homer off the bat of Nick Kraszewski.
With runners on and the Puerto Rican team looking to score a game-winning run in the bottom of the sixth, Sebastian Oetterer made a diving catch to send the game into extra innings.

In extra innings, each team would score once in the seventh.
With the Stealth's Tre Breland on third with no outs, Ryan Spano put down a successful suicide squeeze to give the team the lead.

But the excitement wasn't over, with Nick Copenhaver returning to the mound after throwing in the seventh, his catcher, Sam Loda, ended the contest by throwing out a potential base stealer.
The Connecticut team returned to the Crystal Lake Holiday Inn to celebrate with food and a swim in the pool.
The Stealth will next take on the Homer Heat at noon Thursday.
