Store Robbed At Gunpoint: Hamden Police

Police say the suspects stole an undisclosed amount of money and several cellphones.

HAMDEN, CT — Hamden Police are investigating after Metro PCS was robbed at gunpoint on Tuesday night. Police responded to Metro PCS, located at 861 Dixwell Avenue, on the report of an armed robbery at about 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 19, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.

Smith said investigation revealed that two individuals described as black males, 5-feet, 10-inches tall with medium builds, wearing dark clothing entered the store and demanded money. One of the individuals was in the possession of a firearm.

They subsequently stole an undisclosed amount of money and several cellphones, according to Smith.
