Students at Children's Center Whitney Hall School Compete on Field Day

The Whitney Hall School, at The Children's Center of Hamden celebrated the end of school with it's annual Field Day. Physical Education teacher, Jake Harris, coordinated the event that included races, contests, a special lunch and prizes. Jake credited the teamwork of his coworkers for the success of the event and was also appreciative of the students who were eager to volunteer. Throughout the year, Jake teaches the students how to incorporate healthy physical activity into their lives. When not teaching in the gymnasium, Jake can be found playing frisbee golf with students on the agency campus or lifeguarding at the swimming pool.
