Students Robbed At Gunpoint Near Quinnipiac Campus In Hamden
Police said the suspect fled after taking $40 and a wallet from the students.
HAMDEN, CT — Two students were robbed at gunpoint early Saturday while walking near the Quinnipiac University campus in Hamden, according to university police.
Authorities said the students were walking south in the 4200 block of Whitney Avenue shortly after midnight when they were approached by a dark-skinned male who pulled out a gun and demanded money.
Police said the students complied and gave the man $40 and a wallet. The man then fled in a dark-colored, four-door sedan.

The students were not injured, university police said.
