Suspect Swipes $500 In Tools From Apartment Complex: Hamden PD
Hamden Police are asking for help with identifying the suspect.
HAMDEN, CT — Police are asking for the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect in connection to the theft of $500 worth of tools from an apartment complex in Hamden. Police responded to the Lakewood Apartments, located at 1199 Whitney Avenue, on Nov. 4 on the report of a burglary, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Smith said investigation revealed that an individual attempted to force entry into a fourth-floor apartment. He then proceeded to the maintenance office and stole approximately $500 worth of tools.
The suspect, whose image was captured on closed circuit television, is described as a male with a tan complexion, 6-feet,6-inches tall with a thin build, trimmed beard, who was wearing a dark-colored jacket, light-colored dress pants and a “white rounded knit skull cap,” according to Smith.
