Fourth Grade Teacher at Fair Haven School
Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Jenna continues to show up for her fourth grade students every day with kindness, compassion and creativity. These unprecedented times have not stopped her from selflessly serving her students and ensuring they continue to learn. Jenna has faced challenges, like reaching students without reliable access to internet and communicating with non-English speaking families, with grace, ensuring her students know she is always there for them no matter what.
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Not only did Jenna participate in Fair Haven School’s drive by parade, she created special shirts for her team to wear during the event. She also mailed her students personalized postcards to let them know how much she misses them.
