Teen Bicyclist Seriously Injured In Hit-And-Run: Hamden Police

Police are asking for help with identifying the driver of a car that struck a bicyclist and left the scene.

HAMDEN, CT — Police are asking for help with identifying the driver of a car that struck a bicyclist and left the scene Wednesday afternoon in Hamden.

The accident happened around 12 noon in the area of Dixwell Avenue and Lexington Street, according to police.

Police said a teenager was struck by the vehicle and was seriously injured.

The vehicle, pictured, is a white sedan with a Connecticut license plate, sunroof, rear spoiler and possible minor front-end damage due to the accident, according to police.
