Teen Charged with Breaking Into Hamden Home
A resident returned home and heard a suspect inside of her daughter's bedroom in the July incident.

Hamden Police have charged a town teen with breaking into an Edwards Street home in July.
The Edwards Street resident returned home on July 27 and heard an individual inside of her daughter’s bedroom and immediately contacted Hamden Police, Capt. Ronald Smith said in a press release.
Detective Joseph Liguori assumed the investigation. Detective Liguori subsequently submitted an arrest warrant application to the court for Tracey Ray. The court approved the arrest warrant application.

On Sept. 16, Ray turned himself into police custody.
Ray, 18, of 333 Augur Street, 2nd floor, Hamden, was charged with third-degree burglary.

Ray, who was detained on a court ordered $75,000 bond, is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Sept. 30.
