Teen Sold Crack Cocaine to Undercover Officer: Hamden Police
Hamden Police concluded a drug investigation with the arrest of a 17-year-old girl.

HAMDEN, CT — A 17-year-old Meriden resident faces drug charges after police say she sold crack cocaine to an undercover Hamden Police officer.
Members of the Hamden Police Department Street Interdiction Team, with the assistance of the Hamden Police Department Patrol Division, concluded a drug investigation with the teen’s arrest at about 9 p.m. on Feb. 10, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Smith said the 17-year-old female sold crack cocaine to an undercover officer in the vicinity of 300 Pine Rock Avenue. She was in the possession of 3.8 grams of crack cocaine and a small quantity of marijuana, according to Smith.

The juvenile, whose name wasn’t released because of her age, was charged with sale of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. She is scheduled to appear in Juvenile Court.
