Teens Charged with Breaking into Vehicles in Hamden: Police
Three teenagers were recently arrested for forcibly entering two vehicles at 2 a.m., according to Hamden Police.

HAMDEN, CT — Three New Haven teenagers are accused of breaking into vehicles in Hamden during the early morning hours.
Hamden Police responded to the area of Third Street at about 2 a.m. on Aug. 16 on the report of three individuals tampering with motor vehicles, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Moments later, Officer Daniel Allen detained the individuals on Fairview Avenue and investigation revealed that they had forcibly entered two motor vehicles, Smith said.

Hamden Police arrested three juveniles, ages 14, 15 and 16, who all reside in New Haven. They were charged with third-degree burglary and conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary.
They are scheduled to appear in Juvenile Court in New Haven on Aug. 30.
