Three Charged in Prostitution Sting Operation: Hamden Police

Police concluded a prostitution investigation with the arrests of three Hamden residents following an undercover sting operation.

Hamden, CT — Hamden Police arrested three people on prostitution-related charges following an undercover sting operation.

Members of the Hamden Police Department Street Interdiction Team and Detective Division concluded a prostitution investigation, which occurred at 112 Park Avenue, on June 17, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.

The investigation led to the arrests of Dante Franchi, Angelica McLaughlin and Brittany St. Vincent. They were arrested at 112 Park Avenue after an undercover sting operation, according to Smith.

  • Dante Franchi, 55, of 112 Park Avenue, Hamden. He was charged with permitting prostitution. Franchi, who was released on a $10,000 bond, is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on June 30.
  • Angelica McLaughlin, 25, of 112 Park Avenue, Hamden, was charged with prostitution. Smith said McLaughlin was also arrested on the strength of two additional arrest warrants. McLaughlin was detained on a $12,500 bond and is also scheduled to appear in court on June 30.
  • Brittany St. Vincent, 22, of 112 Park Avenue, Hamden, was charged with prostitution. St. Vincent, who was released on a written promise to appear, is scheduled to appear in court in Meriden on June 30.
