Travelers Award Quinnipiac Students With $1,000 To Help With Academic Expenses
Eight students with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 have received the award to assist with academic expenses.

From Quinnipiac University: Eight Quinnipiac University students were each presented with $1,000 from Travelers to assist with the cost of books and other academic-related expenses. Travelers has been providing these awards to Quinnipiac students since 2009.
“We’ve developed a great partnership with Quinnipiac over the years, and we’re proud to help these students with the overall cost of college,” said Jamie Roshka, senior consultant of university relations at Travelers.
This year’s recipients are: Ashley M. Boscarino of North Bellmore, New York; Sarah Campbell of Warwick, Rhode Island; Jean P. Chiappini of Wingdale, New York; Jake R. Cyr of Stratford; Christopher Ferlazzo of New Hyde Park, New York; Megan J. Martucci of Patterson, New York; Danny A. Parenteau of Millville, Massachusetts; and Christopher J. Sour of Guilderland, New York.

To qualify for the award, students must be eligible to work in the United States; sophomores or juniors; and majoring in or planning to major in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics or computer science. Recipients also must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2.
