Tree Crushes Car On Route 15 In Hamden: Fire Officials

HAMDEN, CT — A driver was hospitalized after a tree fell onto his car on Route 15 North in Hamden early Thursday morning, according to fire officials.

“At the height of rain and wind gusts early this morning, a driver on RT 15 NB in Hamden had his car crushed by a tree,” officials wrote in a post on Facebook. “Our members cut back the tree for ambulance access and treated non-life threatening injuries. The patient was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital.”
