Upcoming Holiday Schedule Announced In Hamden
Officials remind residents of the schedule for town buildings for the Lincoln's Birthday and Presidents' Day holidays.
HAMDEN, CT — Town officials are reminding residents and staff of the following holiday information:
Lincoln's Birthday - Monday, Feb. 13
Government Center, Keefe Community Center, and the Hamden Transfer Station will be closed Monday, Feb. 13 in observance of Lincoln's Birthday, and will reopen Tuesday, Feb. 14 at their regularly scheduled hours. Hamden Public Library buildings will be open Monday, Feb. 13 during their regularly scheduled hours.

Washington’s Birthday & Presidents’ Day – Monday, Feb. 20
All town offices and buildings, including Government Center, Keefe Community Center, all Hamden Public Library buildings, and the Hamden Transfer Station, will be closed Monday, Feb. 20 in observance of Washington’s Birthday & Presidents’ Day, and will reopen Tuesday, Feb. 21 at their regularly scheduled hours. The library’s digital branch is available 24/7.

Trash and recycling pick-up will not be affected by these holidays.
The Warming Center at Keefe Community Center will remain open 7 p.m. - 7 a.m., seven nights a week through March 31. Click here for more information.
