Veterans Day Closures Announced For Town Of Hamden
Officials announce the schedule for town buildings and trash collection for the Veterans Day holiday.
HAMDEN, CT — Town officials are reminding residents and staff of the following holiday information.
Town offices and buildings, including Government Center, Keefe Community Center, all Hamden Public Library buildings, and the Hamden Transfer Station, will be closed Friday, Nov. 10 in observance of Veterans Day.

The library’s digital branch is available 24/7.
All town offices and buildings will reopen on Monday, Nov. 13 at their regularly scheduled hours.

The Hamden Transfer Station located at 231 Wintergreen Avenue will be open Saturday, Nov. 11 from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Trash and recycling pick-up will not be affected by this holiday.
