Victim Identified In Fatal Shooting In Hamden: Police

The shooting happened around 3 a.m. Saturday during what Hamden police are calling a domestic-related argument.

HAMDEN, CT — Police have identified the victim in Saturday’s fatal shooting in Hamden as 22-year-old Noel Adon of New Haven.

Officers went to 2390 State St. around 3 a.m. after receiving a call about a shooting, according to police. When officers arrived, police said they found Adon suffering from a gunshot wound.

Adon was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital where he later died from his injuries, police said.

Police said a preliminary investigation found that the shooting stems from a domestic-related dispute.

Police are continuing to investigate and anyone with information is asked to call Detective Shawn Nutcher of the Major Crimes Unit at 203-287-4812.
