Walmart Shoplifting Suspect Sought: Hamden Police
Police are asking for assistance with identifying the suspect.

HAMDEN, CT — Hamden Police are asking for the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect accused of stealing about $740 worth of merchandise from Walmart. Police responded to Walmart, located at 2300 Dixwell Avenue, on July 24 on the report of a larceny, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Smith said investigation revealed that on July 12 at approximately 2:30 p.m. an individual, described as a white male, who was wearing a gray baseball hat, black shirt and blue pants, exited the store through a side entrance. (To sign up for Hamden breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
The suspect stole $739.05 worth of merchandise, including several electronic items. He subsequently fled from the area in a blue Buick, possibly a Verano, according to Smith.
