Watch Where You Sit… Copperhead Snakes Spotted At Sleeping Giant

HAMDEN, CT — Generally speaking, if you’re out on a hike, you are OK with coming across “nature” on your travels. But even Indiana Jones would have turned around and taken a different path after coming across what was spotted on a trail at Sleeping Giant State Park on Thursday.

The Sleeping Giant Park Association shared photos of two Copperhead snakes that were spotted on Thursday and said “A couple of reasons to keep your dogs on a short leash & to watch where you sit down.”

No offense to the snakes, which I’m sure are beautiful creatures…
