Weather Postpones Hamden-Hand Football Game

With inclement weather in the forecast for Friday, tonight’s Hamden at Daniel Hand football game has been postponed.

The National Weather Service has issued a “Hazardous Weather Outlook” for New Haven County as “thunderstorms ahead of a cold front late this afternoon and early this evening could produce an isolated damaging wind gust or two.”

Here are the specifics on the timing of the possible unsettled weather:

Showers and thunderstorms are likely after 5 p.m. and could continue until 9 p.m. Up to a quarter of an inch of rain is predicted, the National Weather Service states. Lingering showers will end after midnight.

The game will played Saturday at 1 p.m. in Madison.
