Woman, 18, Robbed at Gunpoint in Hamden
The robbery took place in the area of Goodrich and Newhall streets Thursday night.

Hamden police are seeking the suspect who robbed an 18-year-old woman at gunpoint Thursday night in the area of Goodrich and Newhall streets.
Police responded to the area at about 9 p.m. on the report of an armed street robbery, Capt. Ronald Smith said in a press release.
Investigation revealed that an 18-year-old female was walking at the aforementioned intersection when she was approached by an individual who was in the possession of a firearm, according to Smith.

The individual, who was described as a black male wearing a gray sweatshirt, pointed the gun at her chest, while demanding her personal belongings. Her cell phone and credit card were stolen in the robbery.
The individual responsible for the robbery was accompanied by three white males, according to Smith. They all fled on foot, eastbound, toward Winchester Avenue.
