Woman Robbed While Walking in Hamden: Police
The street robbery occurred late Sunday night when the woman was approached from behind by the suspect, according to police.

HAMDEN, CT — Hamden Police are investigating a street robbery that occurred late Sunday night on Cherry Ann Street and possibly involved a weapon.
The female victim told police that at about 11 p.m. on Dec. 11 she was walking on Cherry Ann Street when she was approached by an individual from behind.
The individual pressed a hard object into her back and demanded her belongings, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.

The victim described the suspect as a “dark-skinned black male” with a medium build and was wearing a “hood,” according to Smith.
The suspect fled on foot with electronic equipment, money and personal items.
