13-year-old Girl Missing In Hartford

HARTFORD, CT — City police Saturday morning are looking for a missing child in the city, according to a Silver Alert issued earlier in the day.

According to the alert, issued at 4:03 a.m., police are looking for 13-year-old Takiyah Taylor, who is described as a Black female with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police said she stands 5-feet-2-inches and weighs 150 pounds and went missing on Friday.

She was last seen wearing a white-collar shirt with a "Capital Prep" emblem, khaki pants and pink and white crocs, according to the alert.

Police did not have a photo of Taylor, but the alert indicates she has long braids in her hair.
