17 Students Likely Ate Pot Brownies At A Hartford School: Report
Police are investigating whether a teacher's aide and a student sold the pot brownies inside the school.

HARTFORD, CT — A total of 17 students at a Hartford school had to visit the nurse's office on Valentine's Day after consuming brownies containing what authorities believe was marijuana, according to numerous media reports. Officials believe that some of the brownies were sold inside the school.
The incident occurred at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday when police and emergency responders were called to Global Communication Academy off of Edwards Street, WFSB 3 TV reports. A teacher at the school claims to have seen the brownies being passed out by a student and a paraprofessional and called police, Fox 61 reports.
Currently no arrests have been made but it's possible charges could be filed, WFSB 3 TV reports. The educator is facing a probable suspension, according to reports.

None of the 17 students required hospitalization.
“All the brownies have been recovered,” stated Lt. Brian Foley via WTNH News 8. “We believe that some were sold within the school…”
