17-year-old 'Runaway' Sought In Hartford

HARTFORD, CT — City police are looking for a 17-year-old "endangered runaway" from Hartford reported missing since Wednesday, according to a Silver Alert issued Thursday night.

According to the alert, sent out at 9:33 p.m., Hartford police are looking for Shanice Daniel, 17, who is described as a Black female with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police said she stands 5-feet-2-inches tall and weighs 155 pounds.

She was last seen wearing red sweat pants, a black sweater and black sneakers, according to the alert.

Anyone with information on Daniel's whereabouts is asked to call the Hartford Police Department at 860-757-4000.
